Active Ingredient

(in each strip):

Diphenhydramine HCl 25 mg          Antihistamine/Cough Suppressant

Uses:   · temporarily relieves

· cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation occurring with a cold

· runny nose · sneezing · itchy nose or throat · itchy, watery eyes due to hay fever

Warnings:

Do not use · with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin

Ask a doctor before use if you have

• glaucoma
• a breathing problem such as emphysema, asthma or chronic bronchitis
• a cough that occurs with smoking, too much phlegm (mucus) or chronic cough that lasts
• trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are · taking sedatives or tranquilizers

When using this product · do not take more than directed · avoid alcoholic drinks

· marked drowsiness may occur · alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness

· be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery

· excitability may occur, especially in children

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• cough lasts more than more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions:

• adults and children 12 years of age and over:   allow 1 strip to dissolve on tongue every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 strips in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor
• children under 12 years of age:   consult a doctor

Other Information:

• store at controlled room temperature 20-25° (68-77° F)
