EDENKOBEN, a town of Germany, in the Bavarian Palatinate, 6 m. N. from Landau, on the railway to Weissenburg. Pop. 53 00. It has a Roman Catholic and a Protestant church, several high-grade schools and a sulphur-spring. Its industries comprise linenand damask-weaving, ironworks, and the manufacture of machinery, furniture and cigars. It has also a considerable trade in wine.
