The map is printed in color, is markable and washable with a laminated surface, and is indexed on the face of the map.

The area of coverage for this map includes all of Charleston with the following boundaries: North to the northernmost point of Charleston; South to the Village of Rand; East to the Village of Port Amherst; West to WV State College.

Insets for this map include Clendenin, Montgomery, Nitro, Hurricane, St. Albans, Kanawha, Putnam County, and Kanawha River Valley.

Special features, data, and details covered with this map are all streets and highways, government buildings, airports, golf courses and country clubs, railroads, shopping centers, recreation parks, mileage circles, cemeteries, educational facilities, hospitals, post offices, city limits and annexations, water features, fire and police stations, fire district lines, ZIP codes and boundaries, and assorted points of interest.

Framing rails are included on top and bottom for easy wall mounting. Railed wall maps can be turned into pull down maps on spring rollers for an additional $30.
