Profile of Patricia B. Minikon
- Patricia B. Minikon attended Howard University in Washington, DC where
she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the
Administration of Justice.
- While at Howard, Ms. Minikon was inducted
into a variety of honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Kappa
Delta, and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
- Ms. Minikon attended the University of Maryland School of Law which is
located in Baltimore.
- While in law school, she served as an Executive
Officer of the Black Law Students Association for two years.
- She was an
Asper Fellow and completed her fellowship with the Securities & Franchise
Division of the Maryland Attorney General's Office.
- She was also a judicial
clerk for Master Gregory Sampson of the Circuit Court of Baltimore City.

After graduation, Ms. Minikon worked for Lutheran Social Services
Immigration Counseling Center.
- In addition to her private practice, Ms. Minikon is a pro bono attorney with
the Montgomery County Commission for Women and the Lawyers
Committee for Human Rights.
- She is a member of the Maryland Bar, the
Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Bar
Association of Montgomery County.
