telephones per 1,000 persons); broadcast stations - 7 AM, 8 FM, 19 TV;
5 submarine cables; satellite earth stations - 1 Atlantic Ocean
INTELSAT and 1 ARABSAT with back-up control station; coaxial cable and
microwave radio relay to Algeria and Libya
