The Daintree River runs through the Daintree Rainforest in the Cape Tribulation region of Queensland.

The river and the Daintree Rainforest that surrounds it are a Wet Tropics Word Heritage site.

The area is known for its ancient vegetation, scenic surroundings and the vast array of native flora and fauna.
