Perisher, with a great diversity of terrain, is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemispere.

A popular tourist destination, Perisher has five terrain parks, seven mountain peaks and four interconnecting vaction resorts.

Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales also contains Mount Kosciuszko, the highest peak in Australia, after which it was named.
