Jvari Georgian orthodox Monastery

The Georgian Orthodox Jvari Monastery (Monastery of the Cross) was built in the 6th century A.D. overlooking Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Caucasian Iberia.

The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
