Kea, also known as Tzia, Zea, and, in Antiquity, Keos, is an island of the Cyclades archipelago, in the Aegean Sea, and it is the Cycladic island tat is closest to Athens.

Kea was known in antiquity by Aristotle's sitation of its governance ("Keion Politeia") as an exemplary democracy.
