Icebergs near Ilulissat.


Icebergs are large pieces of freshwater ice that break off glaciers.

Ilulissat, which in the Greenlandic language means iceberg, is located near the mouth of a long ice fjord, whicih is filled with the icebergs from the glacier Sermeq Kujalleq, the most productive glacier in the northern hemisphere.
