Happoen, Tokyo

"Happoen", which means "beautiful from any angle", is a garden near Shirokanedai Station in Tokyo.

It features 200 year old bonsai trees, a stone lantern that people say it was carved 800 years ago and a central pond.

A regular stop in bus tours of Tokyo, the garden has a teahouse, where women in kimonos serve matcha and okashi.
