Roppongi Hills, Tokyo

Roppongi Hills (Roppongi Hiruzu), one of Japan's largest and most opulent integrated real estate developments, is located in the Roppongi district of Minato special ward, Tokyo.

This huge buildng complex contains office space, apartments, shops, restaurants and cafes, movie theaters, a museum, a 5-star hotel, a major TV studio, an outdoor amphitheater, and a few parks.

The Roppongi Hills development cost over $4 billion to built, on a 109,000 square meter site, which was put together from more than 400 smaller lots, acquired over 14 years by its developer, building tycoon Minoru Mori.
