Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan photo
Shibuya, Tokyo

Shibuya (Shibuya-ku) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo. Located in the southwestern part of the city, it is a major commercial and entertainment center.

Shibuya is famous for its "scramble crossing", in front of the Shibuya Station Hachiko exit, where stops for vehicles in all directions allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection.

Large TV screens mounted on nearby buildings overlook the crossing, and the Starbucks store that overlooks it is one of the busiest in the world.
