Townscape of Yunotsu, Shimane prefecture
Yunotsu (Japanese: Yunotsu-machi) was a separate town located in Nima District, Shimane prefecture, but on October 1, 2005, together with the town of Nima, it was merged into the city of Oda.
A one-street onsen (hot spring) town with several inns and two beautiful old public bath houses, Yunotsu is a piece of 1920s Japan, full of classic wooden buildings.
As an onsen town, the main activity at Yunotsu is bathing.
