At Plaza de la Patria we encounter the monument in homor of Carlos IV, located at the sympolic center of Mexico.

It is at the center of the city of Aguascalientes, surrounded by the main buildings that were constructed since the founding of the city: The basilica cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno, Palacio Municipal (City Hall) and Palacio Legislativo (Legislative building)
