Hotel Mundal, Sogndal, Sogn and Fjordane, West Norway

Sogndal is the regional centre covering the inner part of the Sognefjord area with a population of about 30,000, with Sogndal municipality having almost 7000 inhabitants.

Additionally 2000 students attend Sogn and Fjordane University College, which also includes the Western Norway Research Institute.

Sogndal is conveniently located as a starting point for trips to mountains, fjords and glaciers. During the summer tourists arrive in great numbers to experience the Sogn region. The 1,400 beds in its hotels, pensions, cabins and private accommodation, enable the town to host large conferences.
