Chocolate hills, Bohol

Chocolate hills, Bohol, Philippines photo

There are almost 1,300 of these unusual geological formations known as the Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

The cone-shaped hills, all about the same size, are spread over some 50 square kilometers.

The grass covering the hills turns brown during the dry season, giving the hills their name.
