Hehuan mountain, Taiwan photo
Hehuan mountain

Mount Hehuan, or Hehuanshan (Hehuan Shan) in Chinese, also called Joy Mountain, is located in central Taiwan on the boundaries of Nantou and Hualien counties, within the Taroko Gorge National Park.

Snow is relatively common on the mountain during winter months, making it a popular destination in a country where snow is rare.

Hehuanshan is part of the Central Mountain Range that crosses Taiwan from North to South.
