Moon World, Tienliao, Kaohsiung

Tienleo Moon World is named by the similarity of its desolate landscape to the surface of the moon.

The terrain, geographically known as badlands, was caused by erosion from rain and streams.

Other attractions near Tienleo Moon World include a moon view tourist pavilion in the style of Chinese architecture, the Sun Moon Temple, Fengyungong, mud springs and camping grounds.
