Stone columns, Xiyu

These basalt column formations, are located in the Penghu National Scenic Area.

Penghu is an archipelago made of up 64 islands located in the southeastern part of the Taiwan Straits, which together they constitute Taiwan's only island county.

In addition to the stone columns, Penghu offers the plain and simple lifestyle of the local people, well-preserved historic sites, and other captivating scenery.
