    Map of member countries of East African Community The East African Community is a regional group consisting of the countries below. Originally founded in 1967 by Keyna, Uganda and Tanzania and disolved in 1977, it subsequently was re-established in 1999. The Union was joined by Rwanda and Burundi in 2007.

    Following are the countries which were member states of East African Community as of July 2010.
