clothes were custom made, usually from
dressmakers and tailors, fashion has
changed dramatically. Although it was
first developed in Europe and America,
today fashion is a global industry
mostly focused in mass-production,
where materials may be designed in one
country, manufactured in another, and
sold world-wide.
